Lifebyte user Jo emailed us in a blind panic a couple of weeks ago: 'Please can the lifebyte fairies wave their wands in my direction: I've just landed a top job with a book publishers. I'm really excited but I just don't know what to wear on my first day. I know publishing is pretty casual, so I won't need to look all suity but I don't want to overdo the dressing down either. We invited our Jo down to lifebyte towers to meet one of our fashion supremos, stylish stylist Susan. 'It's just a case of getting the balance right,' Soos said, wisely. 'What I'm going to do is create three different looks; one smartish/ casual, one glamorous/trendy and one smart/trendy, and I'll let Jo decide which one feels right for her.' And us generous lifebyte peeps will even let her keep her fave one to wear on the big day. Sound good Jo? 'Ooh, I'm worried I won't be able to choose one'

Some folks are never satisfied, are they, guys?

First make-up-artist-to-the-stars, Emma, worked her magic on Jo to get her looking beautiful in a subtle way befitting to the workplace. To find out which potions she used, go to DIY.

Well the first look was quite 'worky' but also managed to be casual. To see how we got the look, go to DIY. Our art director Sara really loved the cowl-neck top and we had to stop her from ripping it off Jo. She gets a bit like that sometimes and has to be restrained.

Then it was 'all change' into super-glam outfit number two. Mmm-mmm, I sho' nuff lurved this one, folks. The top and skirt went perfectly together; the plummy tones were soo this autumn, darlings and the shoes were totteringly sexy. To see how clever clogs Susan achieved this one go to DIY.
