The internet is the perfect tool for job searching. You can express your field of work, your preferred geographical area and even your salary bracket and all matches will be found in a second (or so).

There’s just one thing to consider before emailing your CV off to all the recruitment companies you can find on the internet. There are probably as many bogus recruitment companies as there are genuine. Avoid those that want to make a quick quid out of you but will also a) not find you work and b) leave your personal details floating aimlessly around cyberspace. Make sure that you’re sending your details to a company with an established reputation

All in all, the main thing to avoid is alerting your current boss that you’re in the market for 'alternative' employment (as the jargon goes). That is the nightmare scenario for a lot of people who have started to use the internet to look for a new job. Soon, however, legislation will come to the rescue, which will make it illegal for companies to pass your CV to your current employer. Phew!

In the meantime though lifebyte.com is here to help. Visit
CV online info for some of the sites that have proved helpful when it comes to finding prospective employers online. Prepare to absorb some highly relevant information.
