andy's story - blind date - lifebyte

'I thought Amy was a good-looking girl, quite possibly my type [well, she was blonde]. I liked how she was dressed – that was one of the best things about her. The ghost tour was kinda cool but a bit too American-touristy for me.

The restaurant was fantastic, though, I love Mexican food and the atmosphere was great. We were the last to leave!

'We got on really well, had lots in common – for example we're both into trance music and drum 'n' bass – if you agree on music you're off to a good start. There were no silences – we both talked plenty. I can't say I noticed anything wrong with her, except for the fact that she claimed not to be able to make roll-up ciggies, then made two perfect ones!

'I had a lot of fun and think we'll be friends but it wasn't really a romantic kind of evening, so I couldn't say if anything could develop. I didn't get her number but I could easily get hold of her if I wanted [metaphorically we think he means] and no doubt we'll bump into each other soon as we go to the same places.

'My final verdict on the evening? Well, we didn't end up in bed but I don't think it could've gone much better - I had a really good night. It had to be an 8 or 9 out of 10.'
