'My first impression of Andy was good; he looked like a really sweet guy and was quite smartly dressed. The ghost tour was a laugh although we didn't get a chance to talk much. The restaurant was brilliant though – I don't normally like Mexican food but it was delicious – I think I'm a convert.

'We got on very well, considering we didn't know each other at all. I found him very easy to talk to. We both talked a lot, I'd say it was pretty equal. There weren't any awkward moments and there was nothing I didn't like about him. That said, I think it was more of a matey thing than anything; he was really nice but there wasn't that special spark, not on either side. We didn't swap phone numbers or anything, although we had a really good time, I can't see anything romantic happening.'

OK, Amy, we get the picture. Marks for date: 8/10.
